About Us

Flora School Education Center is a non-profit organization that takes great joy in teaching and demonstrating to new and older generations the arts and crafts that seem to be gradually disappearing. Every year on the first weekend in June we hold our annual Flora School Days event. During this event we demonstrate lost arts and skills such as; Blacksmithing, Wool Dyeing, Dutch Oven Cooking, Spinning/Weaving/Sewing and much more!

We also offer classes throughout the year. During the summer months we hold classes at the school. Most classes are one or two days depending on the class. Most of our instructors that we have teaching the classes are volunteer and have 10+ years of experience in the craft he or she is teaching.
